Make a suggestion

You can make a suggestion for the site by creating an issue on Github (requires a GitHub account) or through our contact form.

Editing and writing

We need help with editing existing guides and writing new ones.

We maintain a living list of guide ideas and priorities on the wiki to see what we’re hoping to publish next. If one of these interst you, please help us write it.

Translating

All of our translations are automatic. What we need your help with is editing and approving the automatic translations. We coordinate human review of translations on Crowdin. The guide explains the workflow and what “reviewed” means on the live site.

Other ways you can contribute

Beyond writing, translating, and code, we occasionally need help with social media, copy editing, UX feedback, graphic design, security review of guides as tools change, and getting the word out (toolkits, networks, workshops, and hosting a security party). If one of these fits you, contact us.

Hosting and translation work have real costs. Get in touch if you want to help fund the project. We do not have a public donation system yet; contributions are not tax-deductible.
